The BBQ Gives Back contest is benefiting the food bank named Team Thanksgiving and Operation BBQ Relief. If interested, you may bring a bag of can and/or dry goods to the contest to donate to the food bank. To see a list of requested items, please click on the GIVING BACK link above. You may also, if interested, make a cash or check donation to Operation BBQ Relief at the time of judges check in. Both of these choices are strictly voluntary.
There are cottages on the resort grounds. It is highly advised to NOT make any reservations until you are notified that you have been chosen to judge this event. To reserve and pay for a cottage, contact email@example.com. Please DO NOT contact the campground directly as all reservations must be made by the contest organizer.
Bethpage Camp-Resort cottages have bedrooms, kitchens, living areas, bathrooms and showers and are within walking distance of the judges tent. Cottages may be shared with other judges if interested.
2 bedrooms with one queen bed, one double bed and one full pull out sofa @ $120 per night/tax included
3 bedrooms with one queen bed, one double bed, one full pull out sofa, and two child sized bunk beds @ $120 per night/tax included
NOTE: Cottages require a $200.00 security deposit to Bethpage Camp-Resort upon arrival. This may be paid by individual judges in cash or by the camp-resort placing a hold on a credit card. This will be refunded once the checkout inspection is completed by the camp-resort staff. Holds on credit cards may take 3 – 4 days to be credited.
NOTE: Linens are NOT included. You may bring your own OR purchase a linen package for an added cost of $40.00 per bed.
NOTE: Cottage bedrooms are VERY small! However, they are very nice and convenient to the judges tent.
